Formed from Kentucky and Tennessee, the Appalachian Territory borders the Confederation of Dixie to the south and west, the Industrial States of America to the north and the Protectorate of the Outer Banks to the east.
The government in Lexington rules the territory with a light hand, collecting a small level of tax primarily to fund the Appalachian Air Wardens, who defend their borders from the Dixie raiders.
