For the PC game aircraft, see Hughes-Lockheed Firebrand.

The Hughes-Lockheed Firebrand is an aircraft featured in the Crimson Skies board game. The aircraft was a joined partnership effort between Hughes Aviation and the Lockheed Corporation, and debuted in early 1937. Fewer than 60 are in service and almost all of those are in the service of the Nation of Hollywood.[1]

Trivia[]

  • The stats given on the Firedrake website are completely different whether you look at the left hand stats panel or read the main text:

    • The panel says it can reach 37,000 feet, but in-text it says it's actually 35,000 feet.[1]
    • The panel says it can reach 200 m.p.h., but in text it's listed as 250 m.p.h.[1]
    • The panel says the operational range is 750 miles, but in-text it says the aircraft can reach 800 miles providing it doesn't go above 180 m.p.h.[1]
