The Ravenscroft Dust Devil was first deployed as a non-combat commercial carrier, designed to be resistant to the dusty, sandy air of the Arixo desert. With the increasing tensions in the area, however, the original design was scrapped and an armed version became the norm.
Equipped with four machine guns and a wing-mounted centerline heavy machine gun, the Dust Devil is an effective all-round combatant, although its poor manouverability and all-wooden construction can be a detriment.
